Your Piper, covered.

Every Piper Oudo comes with a warranty. Register yours and the parts that do the work are covered for three years, with shipping on us.

Stainless steel parts

Inside your Piper Oudo is a precision-engineered stainless steel core. Our stainless steel resists corrosion, but moisture can still damage it over time. Keep it dry and use it for pepper only.

Piper Care covers manufacturing defects in the shaft, spring, bearings and inner burr for three years from delivery once you register. If a covered part fails, we send a complimentary replacement with fitting instructions, shipping included.

A note about solid wood

Wood is a natural material. Grain and color vary from grinder to grinder, and the wood can change over time. Differences in grain and color are part of the material, not manufacturing defects.

If a wooden part arrives faulty, damaged or missing, or has a manufacturing defect, contact us within the first 30 days after delivery. After that, wooden and outer parts are not covered by Piper Care, including wood that cracks, shifts or pops out. Replacement parts are available for purchase.

Replacement parts

Registered Piper Care owners can buy genuine replacement parts at member prices. Active pepper subscribers with a registered grinder receive 33% off parts. If you pause or cancel your subscription, the discount stops and returns if you resubscribe. Your other Piper Care cover is unaffected.

Discounts cannot be combined with other offers.

Shipping is currently included on replacement parts whether they are covered by Piper Care or paid for.

Need help with your Piper?

1. Get in touch. Email info@piper.now or choose Piper Care on our contact form.
2. Send us: your order number or the batch number included with your grinder, a description of the issue, a photo or short video, and your shipping address.
3. We’ll aim to respond within 2 business days. If your claim is covered, we’ll send the replacement part with instructions for fitting it. If it isn’t, we’ll send you a link to buy the part at the price available to you.

We may ask you to return the faulty part via mail.

Not registered yet? You can register when you make a Piper Care claim. Arrival cover (first 30 days after delivery) applies whether or not you register.

If you bought your grinder before October 14, 2026

Kickstarter batch grinders. Register by December 13, 2026 to receive Piper Care from the day you register, plus 33% off replacement parts through December 13, 2026.

piper.now and authorized retailer orders. Manufacturing defects in all parts are covered until January 31, 2027, even without registration. Register by January 31, 2027 to keep your internal metal parts covered until three years after delivery. Wooden and outer parts are not covered after January 31.

Giving or receiving a Piper

If you received a Piper as a gift, register it in your own name and receive any cover remaining from the delivery date. If you bought Piper to gift, pass the order number along so the recipient can register. Subscriber benefits belong to the subscriber and do not transfer.

A few common questions

• What does registering get me?

  Piper Care gives registered owners three years of free replacement for manufacturing defects in the internal metal parts, counted from delivery, plus access to replacement parts at member prices and priority support. Shipping is included on covered replacements.

• When does the three-year period start?

  The three-year period starts from delivery. You need to register to receive Piper Care, but registration does not restart that period. Kickstarter units and earlier orders have the separate terms set out above.

• The wood popped out or cracked. Am I covered?

  Wooden and outer parts are covered only during the first 30 days after delivery if they arrive faulty, damaged or missing, or have a manufacturing defect. After that, they are outside Piper Care. You can still purchase replacement parts.

• Where do I find my batch number?

  Batch numbers will be included with Pipers ordered from 2027. For now, use your order number when making a claim.

• Can I grind salt in it?

  The Oudo is designed for pepper. Grinding salt or oily, wet or corrosive spices can damage it.

• What happens if I pause or cancel my subscription?

  The 33% discount on replacement parts stops while your subscription is paused or cancelled and returns if you resubscribe. Your other Piper Care cover is unaffected.

• I bought mine second-hand. Am I covered?

  Piper Care applies to grinders bought new from piper.now or an authorized retailer, and to grinders received as gifts. Second-hand units bought from third parties are not covered.

• Does this replace my consumer rights?

  No. Piper Care is in addition to the consumer laws where you live.
