The best better than penzeys or spice house
Hands down the best pepper grinder I have ever used. And I have owned a lot, as well as using grinders at friends houses. Easy to fill, easy to clean, easy to use, and it makes pepper dust. I don't generally need pepper so finely ground, but I like very, very fine pepper for my gingersnaps. We went through the first bag of the debut blend in 18 days, 22 days for the second one, and the longest time between refills has been 43 days. I'm into my second box and it has been about six months since my Piper's arrived on my doorstep. Pepper addict? I gave my sister one, she told me just yesterday how much she loves it. I gave one to a friend, not knowing they had just broken their old, traditional one a week prior, she loves as does her son. I gave one to my cousin for his birthday and he couldn't decide if he should save it until he moved into his new place, or start using it right away. I kept two, the Black Walnut one is for the daily grind and the Maple one is for white pepper.I use it at least once a day for my fries egg in the morning, and I sometimes think I should have bought another for myself to bring to the office. I have backed a lot of Kickstarter campaigns, and this is by far the best one, and I'm so glad I backed it the first time and that Jeremy and Layla stuck with it. The grinder is beautifully made with a super nice finish and excellent grinder mechanism that feels really good to use.
Both the grinder and the peppercorns are leagues better than the stuff I've been buying at the store for years, and honestly, changing my experience with pepper. Some of the best pepper I've had that makes me feel like I've never really had good pepper before. Will definetely be refilling our sachet's and super happy with the purchase.
